The struggle between the just and the unjust was also born in this lawless settlement, where every man, and woman, has their price. Only one law exists: survive, by any means necessary. Keep in mind that Deadwood was established in March of 1874.
Deadwood continues to grow, and as fall and soon, winter, approaches, the weather starts to get colder. The first newspaper, the Black Hills Pioneer, came in June, and there is talks of the first telegraph making its way to the Deadwood area. Christmas celebrations will soon come to Deadwood.
